About

Hello, World! I’m a dermatology resident at Penn, by way of an MD/PhD at Harvard-MIT and a Transitional Year at Memorial Sloan Kettering. Clinically, I’m especially interested in medical dermatology and immune-mediated diseases.

My research interests lie in the practical application of technology to biology and medicine. My PhD in the Raychaudhuri Lab focused on building scalable computational algorithms for single-cell genomics and human genetics. We developed Symphony, an algorithm for mapping single cells to reference atlases, and dissected genetic drivers of gene expression in the HLA genes, which are important in autoimmunity, infection, and cancer. Alongside my training, I’ve also worked as a consultant for several biotech companies, including Prometheus Biosciences and Aditum Bio. More recently, I’ve been building and evaluating clinical AI tools at Apple and Abridge.

Previously, I studied Computer Science at Stanford, where I wrote my honors thesis on metagenomics in the Bhatt Lab.

Feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect, collaborate, or chat about dermatology, data, or anything in between!
